Ridgehill Housing Association
(RHA) have appointed consultants from IRIS Consulting to carry
out training for all RHA's staff on "diversity" awareness.
RHA is committed to equality and
diversity, is a member of the Federation of Black Housing Associations
and works in partnership with BME housing associations. As an employer
and service provider RHA is committed to the objectives of continuous
improvement which involves continuous development of its policies
and practices.
The training being provided by
the IRIS consultants will include:
• Sessions on the concept of diversity
• Exercises exploring how diversity applies to day-to-day work situations.
The training for all RHA's staff
will take place in June and July 2001.

The IRIS consultants who will be
delivering this training will be:
• Rodney Waldeck
• Liz Szondi.
Both have extensive experience
and backgrounds in the area of diversity and equal opportunities
and previously have worked for the Commission for Racial Equality.
Other related assignments which
IRIS Consulting have recently carried out include:
• a major evaluation of gender
equality initiatives for the Welsh Development Agency
• a "Civil Service Reform" project for the Department of the
Environment, Transport and the Regions.
