Communities Plans: Making Things Happen
Change Management Seminar: 31 January 2003

The seminar is intended for leaders in the public sector who are responsible for setting strategies for their organisations and for implementation.

The speakers at the seminar include:

• Roy Irwin – head of the Audit Commissions’ Housing Inspectorate
• Sarah Webb – head of the Government’s Community Housing Task Force
• Emma Bird – head of change management practice at IRIS Consulting
• John Harvey – managing director of IRIS Consulting.

This seminar comes at a time when major new initiatives are about to be announced by Government – including the new policies on Communities Plans.

The presentations to be given by Emma Bird and John Harvey will develop the ideas set out in the ODPM’s Good Practice Briefing Note No 2 “Managing Change Results” which sets out the approaches which need to be considered by any organisation wishing to carry out a major change initiative.
