Hamish Davidson rejoins John Harvey, this
time at IRIS Consulting.
Hamish
Davidson, former head of Veredus and PricewaterhouseCoopers
Executive Search and Selection, has been appointed as non-executive
Chairman of IRIS Consulting the London-based change
management consultancy practice.
The announcement was made at a ROOM at RTPI
event at the Houses of Parliament on 7 March 2005. His role
will involve giving strategic advice and developing synergies
within the market place. The appointment sees Hamish rejoining
forces with John Harvey, Managing Director and founder of
IRIS Consulting, as both worked together in the 1990s at Price
Waterhouse Management Consultants.
John Harvey said:
"The Harvey-Davidson combination works very well.
It is a tried and tested business machine capable of powerful
performance in travelling the extra mile to meet client needs.
"IRIS Consulting is at the forefront
in helping organisations to meet the new agendas facing them.
This typically involves a combination of research, analysis,
value for money appraisal, developing business strategies,
change management and leadership to improve performance and
deliver sustainable solutions. Hamish's extensive networks,
expertise and his no-nonsense approach will add further depth
to our business and deliver even better value to our clients".
Hamish's new role is in addition to the position of chairman
and senior partner that he took at the beginning of March
with Rockpools - a newly formed recruitment consultancy and
part of the Pinnacle group.
Hamish Davidson said:
"I see considerable benefits in making the linkages
between the type of services provided by IRIS Consulting and
the need to find tomorrow's leaders and managers, from various
walks of life - across all sectors.
"IRIS Consulting is at the leading-edge
in key policy arenas such as public/private partnerships,
equalities, policy evaluation and change management. To translate
these policies into improved service delivery requires top
class leaders and managers and this is the critical cross-over
challenge that faces all public sector organisations in the
next decade."
"Successful organisations will not
only be able to recruit and retain the best talent, but will
know how to constantly update their skills to deliver the emerging
agenda".
