Marilyn Tyzack joins IRIS Consulting

Marilyn Tyzack has joined IRIS Consulting as Director with special lead responsibility for HR, leadership, managing change and diversity issues. She joined the team in September 2005 as the new Director to replace Andy Wong.

Coming from The Work Foundation Marilyn has a strong background in both the public and private sectors and brings wide experience in all areas associated with change management. She led much of the Foundation’s work on diversity and equality issues.

She is particularly interested in leadership and culture change. She has designed a tool that has been successfully used with a wide range of organisations to help them to achieve positive working environments. This has been particularly effective for those departments who are experiencing problems, either as a result of the top team's not communicating effectively, or because cliques and bullying and harassment have become part of the sub-culture. This approach has also been used to build on what works with successful teams and has become a central part of many leadership development programmes.

Marilyn is also currently working with The Leadership Foundation for Higher Education on diversity and leadership in the higher education sector.’
